Surry Central High School Art Team recently claimed 2020 NCASA Western Region championship, then went on to finished fifth overall in the state competition, with several individual students placing in their categories.
Among the students earning statewide recognition were:
– 2020 State Champion: Collage – Kylee Natoli;
– 2020 State Honorable Mention: Painting – Laken Creed;
– 2020 State Honorable Mention: Mixed Media – Joshua Marion.
