Gentry students crowned regional art champs

Eight Gentry Middle School students were recently honored, their artwork taking the title as champions in a regional art contest.

The eight entered their artwork in the North Carolina Association of Scholastic Activities Art Showcase Middle School Western Region, where they won the competition. Now, the students’s work will advance to the state level art contest, to be judged Feb. 8.
