We all grow weary

We greet you in the name of Jesus Christ.

I am honored to share the wonderful word with you. There is so much joy in the name of Jesus Christ. No matter what you are experiencing in life, Jesus Christ can make everything alright. Praise God! We have problems and situations that we must endure on this journey, but remember God is forever faithful. Let us not become selfish and forget to be grateful for his goodness.

Once again we are celebrating black history month and along with that we will be observing the Holy season (Lenten) a time of repentance. I’m sure everyone knows what repentance means: It means a time of contriteness, and remorse, apologetic, regretful, and sorrowful.

All Christians should know what it means. Well, I don’t know about you, but I must repent every day. Sometimes, our thoughts can be harmful. Webster has many definitions, but the Bible gives us many scriptures concerning repentance.

Ok, we must speak with you about sometimes we get a little weary. If you do not get a little weary sometimes, God Bless you, it’s wonderful. I must say being a child of God and a minister I do get weary. Being that servant, and wanting so much to please God, the flesh gets a little weary. So those individuals that stood in the gap for us, suffered persecution, not just for the black race, but for the white race, yellow race, etc., for everyone.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and supporters Julian Bond, Andrew Young, Harry Belafonte, Cisely Tyson. There were many whites that marched with him also. (Job: 10-1) My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself. I will speak in the bitterness of my soul. Proverbs: 3-11 My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction:

Isaiah 40:28-31 Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard that the everlasting God, the Lord, the creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall utterly fall: but they wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint. Galatians 6:8-9 for he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. I am bringing this article to an end now! I do hope it has been a blessing.

Please — stay in the race. May God continue to bless and guide you.
