After five days of memorials and tributes in his home state of Alabama and in Washington, DC, Congressman John Lewis was laid to rest Thursday in Georgia, the state he served for more than 30 years.
Following a funeral at Ebenezer Baptist Church that will include remarks from three former Presidents Bush, Clinton and Obama, Lewis went to his final resting place at Southview Cemetery, just south of downtown Atlanta.
