Power restored to more than 1,000 people after outage in Roanoke city

More than 1,000 people again have power after an outage in the city of Roanoke on Monday afternoon.

According to Appalachian Power, around 1,159 customers were in the dark in the Grandin area from 11:35 a.m. until shortly before 2 p.m.
