Thousands were without power in Central and Southwest Virginia following the strong winds that rolled through the region Friday night and Saturday morning.
Below are the worst outage areas in our region among the now 1,475 Appalachian Power customers in Virginia without power:
- Franklin County: 1,070
- Montgomery County: 330
- Roanoke County: 31
