NEW BERN, N.C. (WGHP) — Ruby Rozenblad, of New Bern, bought a Fast Play ticket on Tuesday and won a $287,870 jackpot, according to an NC Education Lottery news release.
She bought her winning $5 Rockin’ Bingo ticket from the Publix on South Glenburnie Road in New Bern.
At the time of the win, the jackpot stood at $575,740. Since Rozenblad bought a $5 ticket, she received 50% of the jackpot.
Rozenblad arrived at lottery headquarters Monday to collect her prize.
After required state and federal tax withholdings, she took home $205,828.
