The Lynchburg Peacemakers are stepping in to help reduce crime and help residents feel safe again after 6-year-old Kingston Campbell was shot and killed while playing video games on his bed.
In remembrance of a life taken too soon, the organization will have cameras installed on Floyd Street, the same street that Campbell lived on.
The cameras were purchased with donations collected by Diamond Hill Baptist Church.
Those who wish to have cameras installed in their neighborhood are asked to contact the Lynchburg Peacemakers.
At this time, no arrests have been made in connection with the tragic death of Kingston.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Detective T. Hall at 434-455-6155 or Crime Stoppers at 888-798-5900. Enter an anonymous tip online at P3Tips.com or use the P3 app on a mobile device.
