Guilford County Schools holds buses over 50 to 60 mph wind gusts

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Guilford County Schools released students early, but some students are still stuck at their schools.

GCS says the district is holding buses until further notice at the direction of Guilford County Emergency Management.

Wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph prompted the hold.

“Thank you for your patience,” the school district said.
