GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Siah Hayes, of Greensboro, bought a $1 Cash 5 ticket and won a $436,199 jackpot Tuesday night, according to an NC Education Lottery news release.
Hayes bought her winning Quick Pick ticket online.
She matched all five numbers to win the jackpot.
The odds of matching numbers on all five white balls are 1 in 962,598.
She claimed her prize at lottery headquarters Thursday in Raleigh.
After required federal and state tax withholdings, she took home $311,885.
