(WGHP) — After a stretch of below normal temperatures, highs will be above normal on Friday and Saturday.
Friday will be mostly sunny and a little muggy with highs in the upper 80s. Factor in the humidity, our heat index or feels like temperatures will be in the lower 90s.
Saturday will be a warm and muggy day. Under partly sunny skies, lows will be in the upper 60s with highs in the upper 80s. Our heat index or feels-like temperatures will be in the lower 90s. A cold front will move across the state, bringing us a chance for scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Chance of rain 40%.
The cold front will slow down and stall along the Carolina coast. With the front nearby, look for mostly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures. Highs on Sunday will be in the mid-70s. Chance of rain 25%.
Clear skies will take over on Monday. Skies will be mostly sunny with lows in the mid-50s and highs in the mid-70s.
Tuesday, mostly sunny with lows in the lower 50s and highs in the mid-70s.
Mostly to partly sunny skies on Wednesday and Thursday with lows in the mid-50s and highs in the upper 70s.
