Expect beautiful week in Piedmont Triad

(WGHP) — After an active weather weekend with numerous showers and thunderstorms, the cold front that caused all of that has settled to our south.

Now, cooler and drier air is pushing in from the northeast. The next few days are going to be beautiful and comfortable.

It will be mostly clear and cool tonight with lows from the 50s in rural areas to near 60 in the Triad.

It will be mostly sunny and near 75 tomorrow for the high then back down to 57 tomorrow night with a partly cloudy sky.

We will see a few more clouds around Wednesday through Friday but very little rain. We have a 10% chance on Wednesday, 20% on Thursday and then a 30% chance on Friday.

Highs remain in the mid-70s and lows near 60 to the lower 60s.

Next weekend, another cold front heads our way on Saturday. It does not look impressive with only a 25% chance of a shower. Skies will also go back to partly cloudy on Saturday. Highs will be near 80.

It will be sunny and pleasant on Sunday and Monday. Highs will be in the mid-70s, and lows are back in the 50s. Welcome to meteorological fall.
