GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers are working to solve a homicide one year after it happened.
On Saturday, Crime Stoppers made a Facebook post seeking more information regarding the death of Devoughn Leon Carthen, 41.
On Aug. 31, 2023 at 6:15 a.m., the Greensboro Police Department responded to an aggravated assault in the 3900 block of Overland Heights. When they arrived, they found the assault was a shooting, and Carthen was found inside a black Toyota car suffering from a gunshot wound. He died from his injuries.
