GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — One person was killed in a shooting on Spring Garden Street Thursday night, the Greensboro Police Department reports.
According to a press release, on Thursday, GPD, Greensboro Fire and Guilford County EMS responded to an assault in the 2800 block of Spring Garden Street.
Officials found Davion Jessup, 20, unresponsive in the breezeway of an apartment building.
Jessup was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting is being investigated as a homicide and is Greensboro’s 26th of the year.
