1:30 p.m. Monday update: The house was torn down due to safety concerns, according Roanoke Fire-EMS.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Crews with Roanoke Fire-EMS are responding to a fire in the 200 block of 18th Street SE.
A department spokesperson said crews were dispatched just before 9 p.m. Sunday.
When crews arrived, they found an abandoned residential structure fully involved.
No injuries were reported.
