EMORY, Va. — Two area students were named to the fall 2019 Dean’s List at Emory & Henry College.
Staymon Johnson of Pilot Mountain and Sarah Marion of Dobson each qualified for inclusion in the list. In order to be listed, a student must achieve at least a 3.6 grade point average on a 4-point scale, which the college said equates to an A- average. The student also must have completed at least 12 credit hours of course work during the semester.
Emory & Henry College, founded in 1836, is located in the Highlands of Virginia.
