Twenty people were arrested and charged as part of “Operation Summertime Blues” this week in Lynchburg, according to the Lynchburg Police Department.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, authorities said 65 criminal complaints were addressed and 29 warrants were served to 20 people. The operation focused on drug-related and violent crime offenses, according to police.

- Alexandria Caldwell – 27, Lynchburg
- Felony child abuse/neglect
- Donte Dorsey – 41, Lynchburg
- Assault on family member, 3rd offense, felony
- Warren Garland Jr. – 38, Lynchburg
- 13 counts of statutory burglary, 6 counts of petit larceny, 9 counts of grand larceny, 2 counts of failure to appear
- Kashone Richburg – 22, Lynchburg
- 2 counts of distribution of meth
- Marque Swain – 31, Lynchburg
- Assault on a family member, 3rd offense, felony
- 47-year-old Lynchburg man
- Probation violation, possession of a Schedule I/II drug
- Rosa Alvarado – 37, Evington
- 2 charges of felony child abuse/neglect
- Edward Mitchell III – 56, Lynchburg
- Distribution of meth
- 60-year-old Lynchburg man
- Probation violation, possession of heroin
- Amos Morris Jr. – 46, Lynchburg
- Attempted malicious wounding in possession, two counts of heroin distribution
- Daron McDaniel Jr. – 29, Lynchburg

- 2 charges of possession of a Schedule I/II drug, possession of a firearm with a Schedule I/II drug

- 4 counts of distribution of cocaine,

- Quentin Adams Jr. – 56, Lynchburg (Currently incarcerated in Florida)
- Breaking and entering, grand larceny
- Charles Elliott – 49, Lynchburg (Currently incarcerated in Georgia)
- Intent to distribute a controlled substance
- Jabari Johnson – 33, Lynchburg
- Federal indictment for conspiracy to distribute cocaine
- Jeffrey Keeling – 59, Lynchburg
- Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
- Shareef Shelton – 34, Lynchburg
- Violating court order, manufacturing controlled substance, felony probation violation, brandishing a firearm
The Lynchburg Police Department worked with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United States Marshals Service and the Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority on this operation.
