Road closed during Winston-Salem police investigation at home on Preston Woods Drive

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Police are on the scene of what they’re describing as a bomb threat at a home in Winston-Salem.

According to the Winston-Salem Police Department, they “are on the scene of a call regarding a reported bomb threat at a residence” on Preston Woods Drive. As a precaution, they are informing neighbors about the call.

The fire department is assisting.

Police say that the road is closed at Old Salisbury from Clemmonsville Road to Ardmore.
