UPDATE
According to police, one person is in the hospital after being shot. Police responded to the first reports of a shooting just after one o’clock early Sunday morning on Madison Street.
About 15 minutes later, there was a second shooting on Sanford Street in the Copper Beech apartment complex.
That’s where police found the person that was shot.
Police are investigating both incidents, and believe the two are connected.

Radford Police is investigating “multiple shooting” scenes, according to a department Facebook post.
The scenes are in the 400 block of Sanford Street and 100 block of Madison Street.
Police ask that you avoid these areas and to expect a large police presence.
No word yet on injuries or suspects.
