MIDDLESEX, N.C. (WNCN) — Investigators are looking for a teen who has been missing for almost a week, according to the Nash County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said Jaleia Moore was last seen at about 6 a.m. Thursday leaving Freewill Baptist Children’s Home, a social services organization in Middlesex.
They said she disappeared the day before her 17th birthday.
According to investigators, Moore was wearing all-black clothing and was possibly getting into a newer model Ford Mustang.
Moore is described as 5’8″ and 120 pounds.
She is believed to have family and friends in New Bern, possibly around the Sycamore Street or Watson Ave areas, according to the sheriff’s office.
