MEBANE, N.C. (WGHP) — A Mebane man was charged with exploitation of a minor after being arrested on Friday, according to an Invictus Task Force news release.
In April 2025, members of the ITF started investigating a ybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
During the course of the investigation, Marcus Alexander Perry, 35, of Mebane, was identified as a suspect.
On Friday, a search warrant was executed by members of the ITF.
Perry was taken into custody and charged with one count of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
He was taken to the Alamance County Detention Center and issued a $10,000 secured bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
