On Friday, the RCSO responded to Jordan Road in Ramseur about an alarm and communicating threats.

Arriving deputies determined the call to be a kidnapping. The victim had escaped from the captor, identified as Rhonwyn Jay Buffkin, 54, of Randleman, and went to a business, prompting the employees to call 911.
