The Lynchburg Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital on Friday.
Officers responded to the shooting in the 1500 block of Taylor Street at 12:52 p.m.
The victim’s wound is considered non-life-threatening, according to police.
Police are currently searching two men seen running away from the scene up 16th Street.
One suspect was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and the second was wearing a grey or black hooded sweatshirt.
