Kernersville man charged with sexual offenses after 2 missing juveniles found at motel, deputies say

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) A Kernersville man was charged with kidnapping and sexual offenses after two missing juveniles were found at a motel on Wednesday, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office news release.

A Kernersville man was arrested and charged after an investigation into two missing juveniles.

On Tuesday, deputies responded to an address on Hayes Drive in Winston-Salem after being told two juveniles had run away.

Deputies used social media and cell phone technology to narrow in on a possible location of the juveniles and an adult who had been communicating with them.

Both juveniles were located at a motel in Kernersville with the adult in question on Wednesday morning.

Damion Jay Huffman, 22, of Kernersville, has been arrested and charged with two counts of felony statutory sexual offense with a person who is 15 years of age or younger, one count of felony indecent liberties with a child and one count of felony second-degree kidnapping involving one juvenile.

Huffman was also charged with one count of felony second-degree kidnapping involving the other juvenile.

He is in the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center under no bond.
