PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Clouds continue to build into our Sunday evening with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures falling through the 70s.
We’ll start Monday morning with temperatures in the low 60s and afternoon highs reaching the upper 70s. It’ll see decent cloud cover throughout the day with stray showers possible into the evening hours. Rain chances continue to increase into Monday night and Tuesday morning.
An upper-level low-pressure system will bring us the potential for rain both Tuesday and Wednesday. Scattered showers will be possible both days, but the amount of rain is dependent on the location of the low-pressure system. Temperatures will also be cooler both days because of the clouds and rain chances. We’ll start Tuesday morning in the low 60s and afternoon high temperatures will reach the upper 60s. Wednesday will start off in the low 60s and afternoon highs will reach the low 70s.
Thursday, we’ll start to see clouds decreasing through the mornin,g leaving us with mostly sunny skies by the afternoon. Temperatures start off in the low 60s and afternoon highs return to the low 80s.
Mostly sunny skies on Friday with morning temperatures in the low 60s and afternoon highs reaching the mid 80s.
Partly cloudy skies on Saturday with the potential for some stray showers. Temperatures start off in the low to mid 60s Saturday morning with highs reaching the low 80s.
Slightly cooler air again on Sunday with morning lows in the low 60s and highs in the mid 70s. Skies will be mostly cloudy with isolated showers possible. The chance for rain is 30%.
