GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — Guilford County is providing cooling stations for people to beat the extreme heat this summer.
Heat advisories have blanketed much of the central United States, and as a heat wave approaches the Piedmont Triad this week, temperatures are expected to reach the high 90s.
The following cooling stations are available to relax, cool off and hydrate.
Interactive Resource Center (IRC)

The IRC will extend their hours Monday, June 23 through Thursday, June 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
