(WGHP) — Whether you want to watch LIV Golf or local news Friday evening, FOX8 WGHP has you covered.
From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 27, tune in to FOX8 WGHP on your usual television channel to watch the first round of LIV Golf Dallas. This is the ninth event of the season, featuring a $25 million purse. Coverage will wrap up at 5 p.m., at which time we will join the FOX8 newscast.
Because LIV Golf will overlap with our regularly scheduled 4 p.m. news, we will be streaming our newscast live on MyFOX8.com, the MyFOX8 news app and MyFOX8+, our connected TV application. These streams are available for free without an antenna, cable or satellite subscription.
Here’s how you can download the MyFOX8+ app on your connected television:
Roku: Press the Home button on your remote control, then select “Streaming Channels” to open the store. Next, search for “MyFOX8+” and press “Add Channel.”
Fire TV: From the Home screen, navigate to the magnifying glass icon at the top left of the screen. Search for “MyFOX8+”, select the app, and hit download to install it.
Apple TV: Open the App Store app, then search for “MyFOX8+” and select “Get” to begin downloading.
