Car gets inside North Carolina check cashing building hit by truck on Thanksgiving

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Just one day after it was hit by a truck on Thanksgiving, a Raleigh business became involved in another incident with a vehicle.

The Raleigh Fire Department confirmed a car got inside a check cashing building on New Bern Avenue Friday night. The building had suffered extensive damage after it was hit by the truck the previous afternoon.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, the driver of the car said they were struck by another vehicle, which caused them to crash into the building. The other vehicle fled the scene.

The car remains inside the business as of Friday night.
