WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the parking lot of a business in Winston-Salem on Saturday.
At around 12:57 a.m. on Saturday, officers came to the parking lot of a business on Northampton Drive after getting a report of a shooting.
At the scene, police found Daron Lamonta Bines Jr., 33, of Winston-Salem, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Bines was taken to a local hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.
Police are investigating the fatal shooting as a homicide.
